We can thank for this one... He predicted that I would post new art today, and somehow he was right!
Very rarely do I get the chance to do commissions these days, but everynow and then one slips through the cracks of my net of non-availability.
basically it was a con sketch which I didnt get the chance to finish, and cause I felt bad about that, i ended up drawing it much larger and prouder than originally intended.
I will eventually ink this up, and then maybe some of you colourists might want to take a shot at it...It should be a fun piece to colour. I'll probably even take a stab at it myself.
Its Wolverine fighting Deadpool...thats fun.
And just in case anyone is wondering, the dude I drew this for seemed to be pretty happy with . you know who you are dude. Glad it helped cheer you up.
Hope you guys like it so far! the piece is still in pencil mode, so I may still tweak it a little before inks.
J.
PS: I'm thinking of completely re-drawing Wolverine.... He seems too big n chunky to me...what do you guys think?

Fezzik: Why do you wear a mask? Were you burned by acid, or something like that? Man in Black: Oh no, it's just that they're terribly comfortable. I think everyone will be wearing them in the future.
When you ink it maybe move Wolvie's claws slightly so there isn't a tangent with his jaw. Deadpool's arm is creating a little bit of a tangent with Wolvie's leg too, but I'm diggin' this piece... ha, wouldn't mind inking it myself.
Awesome...good points there man. I will definately watch for that stuff. I'm definately feeling a little off about Wolvie, and really considering just re-drawing him completely. This piece was pretty spontaneous though...but I think I'm gonna have to spice it up a little now.
As for you and I teaming up at some point...we just gotta do it!
Maybe we can swap pencils at some point during San Diego, and then ink them when we get back to Aus?...heh. Would be a very interesting experiment.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
