Hello!
Well, its been a little while since my last update. Didnt mean to slack off, but I have been a little busy over the past week. Rest assured there is a number of commissions in the works, as well as some more fun stuff. Keep your eyes peeled for some more Chamba collabs.
Anyway...This particular piece was a sample I did for darkhorse. When they found out they were gonna be doing the movie adaption comic they asked me to do a sample page to show how I would handle the art for this comic, baring in mind I had seen nothing but afew images before producing this page. Its over a year old now, but it still looks pretty fun, and I havnt posted much sequential stuff here, so I'm gonna post up a little bit of that when I can.
Pixar chose to go with one of their own storyboard artists for the actual comic, which was a good choice, but it sure would have been cool to see them take a chance and produce a comic book which actually looked like a comic, with a style, rather than the typical movie adaption art we always tend to get.
Let me know what you think!
J.
