Love it! How do you go about getting a book designed? I've always wanted to create my own art book, but don't know where to start. Any recommendations?

Well, you can either hire a graphic designer to help you out, or you can go learn about graphic design and using photoshop or some other design program to create the pages. It takes some planning, but its not really all that difficult.

its all about research! Get in touch with local printers and get some quotes. You will need to know how many pages your book will be, the type of paper stock you want, number of copies...etc. Once you know what you want you get quotes and then you go for the printer who gives you the best quality for the best price.
