Hey!
It's been a while since I last had a chance to post, but I wanted to put something up for you guys today, so here it is. After I watched the movie Apocalypto I was so impressed that i wanted to draw something from it. I ended up going for an easy character shot of the main bad dude: Zero Wolf. With this drawing I was also testing myself out to see if i could draw a character in a straight on front shot and make it interesting. For some reason I do find it challenging to draw people in what would seem to be the easiest pose of all! heh. Anyway....Apocalypto has been and gone already, but I'm looking forward to the DVD, as I really enjoyed this flick. I know Mel Gibson isn't the most popular man, but if you can seperate the art from the artist, I think he made a really fun balls-out action movie. And to top it off it is set in the Mayan civilization which I am really interested in. What did you guys think of it? Thanks for reading! |
